TORNADOS JV & VARSITY CHEERLEADING

Join HUSTL Athletics Cheerleading!  Our mission is to support our HUSTL athletes through cheer while demonstrating sportsmanship and leadership.  Our squad is a team of dedicated cheerleaders who have committed themselves to excellence in their skills while striving for improvement.  At the core of our program the squad purposes to be examples of Christ in both attitude and actions . 

SEASON DETAILS:

The Cheerleading program runs from September to March to support our HUSTL Athletics boys basketball. This year we are excited to share of us offering the program for both JV an varsity cheerleading.  Our cheerleaders practice 1 to 2 times per week throughout the season.  Callouts are planned for the end of August to first of September for the 2026-2027 year.  Callout times and locations will be posted as soon as they are available.

SQUAD COMMUNICATION:

 Cheerleaders are required to learn all cheers and are provided videos through text to support personal practice outside of the weekly schedule. Coach Sherri will establish groups for both parents and for the cheerleaders.  Game information and location is provided once the season is established.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

We hope to provide a few opportunities to get together outside of the normal practice and game schedules.  Meeting for pizza or ice cream is an example of planned gatherings when possible.  This allows more time for the squad to get to know each other and the basketball players when they are able to join us.  

PROGRAM FEES:

Fees for the season are $300.  Fees include cheer uniforms, poms, bows, and jacket or sweatshirt (depends on our season). Plain white tennis shoes are required but not included in the fees. Cheer fees are DUE AT THE TIME OF CALL OUTS to ensure our uniforms arrive by the start of the basketball season.
